Born in Vincennes, Ind. on April 7, 1917, passed away in Green Valley on Jan. 28, 2007.

Betty’s proudest moments occurred while serving in the WASP (Women’s Air Force Service Pilots) during WWII. She spent those years ferrying fighter aircraft from factories to points of embarkation.

Betty also served in Japan as a weather officer in the Air Force during the Korean conflict.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father and sister. She leaves her longtime friend Connie.


Betty was a great friend and a great lady who will be sorely missed.
